DePaul and Multicultural Marketing Program Background

Over a century ago, DePaul University was founded to educate the children of immigrants to Chicago. Today, DePaul is the largest Catholic university in the nation with over 23,000 students, but continues the mission with almost 40% of its freshman class the first generation in their families to attend college. Princeton Review has ranked DePaul #1 in diversity, among numerous other distinctions.

The Multicultural Marketing Program (MCM) was established in 2007 to educate future business professionals in the discipline of multicultural marketing. The program is designed to be relevant, practical, disciplined and inclusive of African Americans, Asians and Hispanics. The program offers both undergraduate academic courses and professional development seminars and has been featured in network and cable TV, magazines and newspapers.
