Marketing Internship Program

The Department of Marketing offers the internship program to allow students to earn academic credit through real world experience. Marketing 393 is a course by which students learn first-hand while employed in marketing positions. The real-world experience is valuable training and skill development for marketing and non-marketing majors.

Marketing 393 fulfills the credit of a required marketing course, an upper-level elective or the University Experiential Learning requirement. This course provides students a strong foundation for their future. Internships develop job-skills and introduce students into the corporate world.

The internship program benefits any student interested in obtaining valuable experience in the marketing industry. Students are given the opportunity to work with top Chicago area firms in advertising, marketing research, sales, promotions or public relations. Many internship positions provide financial compensation.
